Hazard Warning Switch: Scoupe

  1. Check for blown fuse No. 13 and/or flasher. Flasher is located in relay box, behind left dash. Hazard switch is located to right of instrument cluster, in clock assembly bezel. Remove clock assembly by prying outward. Unplug harness connectors. Remove hazard switch retaining screws. Pry switch from panel.
  2. With switch in OFF position, use ohmmeter to ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 3 and 9. SeeFig 1 . With switch in ON position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 2, 6, 7, 8, and between terminals No. 4 and 9. Terminals No. 1 and 5 are for bulb illumination. Terminal No. 3 is fused input power supply to switch.
