Window Switch

Remove switch in question. Check for continuity with switch in specified position. See MAIN SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST  or SUB-SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST  table. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.

MAIN SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST

Switch Condition (1) Terminals No.
Left Front Up 3 & 5; 11 & 16
Left Front Off 5, 11 & 16
Left Front Down 3 & 16; 5 & 7
Right Front Up 3 & 6; 11 & 15
Right Front Off 6, 11 & 15
Right Front Down 3 & 15; 5 & 11
Left Rear Up 3 & 7; 11 & 14
Left Rear Off 7, 11 & 14
Left Rear Down 3 & 14; 7 & 11
Right Rear Up 3 & 4; 11 & 12
Right Rear Off 4, 11 & 12
Right Rear Down 3 & 12; 4 & 11

SUB-SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST

Switch Position (1) Terminals No.
Up 2 & 4; 5 & 6
Off 1 & 2; 5 & 6
On (2) 3 & 7
Down 1 & 2; 4 & 5
(1) See Fig 2 .
(2) No continuity with switch OFF.
