Steering Gear: Inspection

Check bearings, rack bushing and rack teeth for damage and wear. Check for rack bend. Check pinion teeth for wear or damage. Check bearings for excessive play, seizure or abnormal noise during rotation. Replace all oil seals and "O" rings.
