Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Position the O-ring seal (308) onto the nipple portion of the pipe.
  1. Install the seals onto the coolant air bleed pipe and/or covers.

  3. Install the coolant air bleed pipe (307) and seals (308) onto the cylinder heads.
  4. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  5. Install the coolant air bleed pipe bolts (309) and tighten to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  7. Install the coolant air bleed covers (313) and seals (308), if required.
  8. Install the coolant air bleed cover bolts (312), if required and tighten to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  10. Install the radiator vent inlet hose (2) to the coolant air bleed pipe fitting.
  11. Position the radiator vent inlet hose clamp (1) at the coolant air bleed pipe fitting.
  12. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  13. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) .
