Installation Procedure

  1. Install the brake pedal assembly (1).

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the power vacuum brake booster nuts (1) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  5. Install the upper brake pedal bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

  7. Install the brake booster pushrod clevis pin (1) to the pushrod and the brake pedal.

  9. Install the brake booster pushrod retainer (1).
  10. Connect the stoplamp switch electrical connectors.
  11. Install the steering column. Refer to Steering Column Replacement .
