Trailer Weight-Distributing Hitch Platform Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bumper impact bar. Refer to Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement .
  2. Hand start/tighten all the bolts.
1 Trailer Weight Distributor Hitch Platform Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  100 N.m (74 lb ft)
2 Trailer Weight Distributor Hitch Platform Bolt (Qty: 4)

Tighten:  160 N.m (118 lb ft)
3 Trailer Weight Distributor Hitch Platform

Procedure

  1. Disconnect any electrical connectors.
  2. Transfer components as necessary.
