Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the wheel hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement .

  4. Remove the front brake shield.
  5. Remove any debris or corrosion from the front brake shield, wheel hub and steering knuckle mating surfaces.
