Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW seal into the intake manifold groove.
  2. Position the throttle body control module to the intake manifold.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the throttle body control module bolts and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the throttle body control module.
  5. Connect the EVAP canister purge pipe (1) to the throttle body control module. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  6. Install the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement .
  7. Perform the throttle learn procedure. Refer to Throttle/Idle Learn .
