Programmable Remote Lock and Unlock Feedback

The following instructions detail how to enter the programming mode for the remote lock and unlock feedback feature:

With the engine OFF, place the ignition in the LOCK position.
Place the ignition key in the OFF position or the retained accessory power (RAP) position.
Press the key fob LOCK and UNLOCK at the same time. The DIC will display RFA.
Press the control stem for more than 2 seconds to view the modes and 1 second to select a mode.
Once the desired mode is displayed, briefly press the reset stem to set the mode.

The following is a list of available programming options:

Mode 1-The park lamps flash when the vehicle is locked and unlocked.
Mode 2-The park lamps flash and the horn chirps when the vehicle is locked. The park lamps flash when the vehicle is unlocked.
Mode 3-The park lamps flash and the horn chirps when the vehicle is locked and unlocked.
Mode 4-The RFA is inactive.
