Preliminary Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Remove the positive and negative battery cables. Refer to Battery Positive and Negative Cable Replacement (LLV/LLR)

Generator Battery Control Module Procedure
- Separate the negative battery cable from the positive cable.
- Mark the position of the generator battery control module before removing it from the battery negative cable.
- Remove the tape and retainers holding the module in place.
- Slide the module down the negative cable routing any additional cables through the module loop.
Tip:
always use new tape and retainers when installing the generator battery control module. |
