Installation Procedure

Install the outside rearview mirror to the door, ensuring the retaining tab is fully engaged.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the bolts retaining the outside review mirror to the door.
Tighten: Tighten the outside rearview mirror to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Connect the electrical connector (1) to the outside rearview mirror, if equipped with DE6.
Install the front door upper trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
