Preliminary Procedure: Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
1	Steering Wheel Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 41 N.m (30 lb ft)
2	Steering Wheel Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed. Loosen the steering wheel nut until two to three threads are left engaged. Wiggle the steering wheel until it disengages completely. Remove the steering wheel nut and steering wheel.
