Removal Procedure

- Remove the brake caliper from the mounting bracket. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement .
- Relocate brake caliper and support.
- Remove the outboard brake pad from the mounting bracket.
- Remove the inboard brake pad from the mounting bracket.
- Remove guide pins from mounting bracket.
- Remove the guide pin seal from the mounting bracket.
- Remove the brake pads shims from the mounting bracket.
- Clean the brake caliper mounting bracket with denatured alcohol.
- Dry the brake caliper mounting bracket using non-lubricated, filtered air.
