Installation Procedure

Install the radiator.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the radiator mounting bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 5.4 N.m (48 lb in).

Using the J 38185 , disengage clamp tension and connect the radiator outlet hose onto the radiator. See Special Tools .
Install the radiator inlet hose.

Using the J 38185 , disengage clamp tension and connect the radiator inlet hose onto the pipe assembly. See Special Tools .

Fill the charge air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) or Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .
