Circuit/System Testing

  1. With a scan tool, verify the correct VIN is programmed in the instrument panel module (IPM).
    • If the IPM is programmed with the wrong VIN, perform the module setup Program VIN procedure.
  2. With a scan tool, perform the Setup SDM Part Number into IPM procedure.
  3. With a scan tool, clear DTCs and cycle ignition OFF then ON. Verify DTC B1019 is not set.
    • If DTC is set, replace the SDM.
