Removal Procedure

Remove the spring shackle. Refer to Spring Shackle Replacement .
Remove the spare tire when servicing the left side bushing.

Use a blunt punch to straighten out the bushing flange that comes through the inner frame.

Remove the spring shackle bushing using J 21474-01 . See Special Tools .
