Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2009 GMC Canyon and 2009 Chevrolet Colorado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: The embossed arrow on the MAF/IAT sensor indicates the proper air flow direction. The arrow must point toward the engine.

  1. Install the MAF/IAT sensor (2) to the air cleaner upper housing.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the MAF/IAT sensor screws (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.
