Removal Procedure

Remove the fuel tank module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement .
Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector (1) from the module cover.

Complete the following in order to remove the fuel level sensor (1) from the module bucket:
1. Disengage the locking tabs on the sensor.
2. Slide the sensor upward from the bucket.
