Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure: 
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1 Camshaft Position Sensor Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure: 
Clean the area around the camshaft position (CMP) sensor before removal in order to prevent debris from entering the engine.

Tighten:  12 N.m(106 lb in)

2 Camshaft Position Sensor Bracket Assembly
Procedure: 
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
3 Camshaft Position Sensor
4 Camshaft Position Sensor O-ring Seal
Procedure: 
Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
