Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (1).

Remove the CKP sensor bolt.
Remove the CKP sensor from the engine block.
Discard the O-ring seals.
