Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor (2).

  4. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump inlet hose (1) quick connect fitting from the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  6. Remove the air cleaner bolts (2).
  7. Remove the air cleaner assembly (1) from the vehicle.
