Circuit/System Description

When ignition voltage is supplied to the electronic brake control module (EBCM) it becomes active. Battery positive voltage is used by the EBCM to run the antilock brake system (ABS), traction control system (TCS), vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) and dynamic rear proportion (DRP). When the key is turned OFF and ignition voltage is removed from the EBCM, the system performs an internal shutdown procedure.
