With scan tool installed drive the vehicle in a straight line at a speed greater than 30 km/h (19 mph) and decelerate the vehicle to a stop several times. The scan tool Longitudinal Accelerometer Sensor Signal parameter should show a change in M/S2 output in sequence to the vehicle deceleration.
