Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.

  2. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump inlet hose quick connect fitting from the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  3. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air cleaner outlet duct from the air cleaner assembly.
  4. Remove the 2 bolts (3) and nut (5) securing the air cleaner assembly to the wheel house (4).
  5. Remove the air cleaner assembly from the vehicle.
