Installation Procedure

  1. Position the exhaust muffler heat shield to the floor panel studs.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the 3 nuts securing the heat shield to the floor panel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the heat shield nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Lower the vehicle.
