Installation Procedure

Install the ignition switch and lock housing assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the shear bolt into the ignition switch and lock housing assembly.
Tighten: Tighten the screw to 1 N.m (9 lb in).
Install the lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement .
Install the switch mounting plate. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Switch Housing Replacement .
Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
