Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Caution: Refer to SIR CAUTION in Cautions and Notices
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR DISABLING AND ENABLING in SIR.
  2. Remove the lock cylinder. Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement .
  3. Remove the multifunction turn signal switch housing. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Switch Housing Replacement .
  4. Remove the shear bolt from the ignition switch and lock housing assembly using a hammer and chisel.
  5. Remove the ignition switch and lock housing assembly.
