Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE (SINGLE BATTERY) .
  2. Disconnect the positive battery cable.
  3. Remove the battery hold down retainer bolt and retainer.
  4. Remove the battery.
  5. Remove the battery insulator.
