Windshield Washer Pump Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: Remove the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
1	Windshield Washer Pump Front Procedure Drain the windshield washer solvent into a suitable clean container. Disconnect the electrical connector to the front washer pump. Disconnect the washer pump hose at the pump. Using 2 flat-bladed tools under the base of the washer pump, pry upward in order to release the pump from the washer pump grommet. Discard the washer pump and grommet. Tip: Use full strength washer solvent on the new grommet in order to aid in the installation of the new front windshield washer container pump.

Windshield Washer Pump Front

Procedure

Drain the windshield washer solvent into a suitable clean container.
Disconnect the electrical connector to the front washer pump.
Disconnect the washer pump hose at the pump.
Using 2 flat-bladed tools under the base of the washer pump, pry upward in order to release the pump from the washer pump grommet.
Discard the washer pump and grommet.

Tip:

Use full strength washer solvent on the new grommet in order to aid in the installation of the new front windshield washer container pump.
