Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Installing Exhaust Heat Shield To Studs

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the exhaust heat shield to the studs.
  2. Install the exhaust heat shield nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Fig 2: Exhaust Heat Shield(S)

  4. Install the exhaust heat shield(s) to the studs.
  5. Install the exhaust heat shield nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  7. Install the exhaust front heat shield to the studs.
  8. Install the exhaust front heat shield nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
