Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Front  .
  2. Firmly grasp and gently pull the front floor kick-up panel to disengage the retaining clips.
  3. Remove the front floor kick-up panel from around the hood release lever, if necessary.
  4. Inspect for broken or missing retaining clips and replace as necessary.
