Installation Procedure

Install the assist handle to the vehicle.
Install the bolts that retain the assist handle to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the hinge pillar garnish trim. Refer to Trim Replacement - Hinge Pillar .
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).
