Installation Procedure

  1. Install the electrical connectors to the ignition switch.
  2. Connect the shift interlock cable to the ignition switch.
  3. Route the ignition switch through the radio opening and position to the retainer.
    4. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the fasteners in order to secure the ignition switch to the I/P retainer. Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  5. Install the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to IGNITION SWITCH LOCK CYLINDER REPLACEMENT  .
