Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the IP center trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CENTER  .
  2. Remove the console trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - CONSOLE  .
  3. Remove the fasteners from the compartment assembly to the IP.
  4. Remove the compartment assembly by pulling rearward.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cigar lighter.
