Installation Procedure

- Position the radiator behind the condenser.
Important: Care should be taken when installing the condenser not to damage the lower attachment points of both the radiator and condenser.
- Position the condenser, aligning the lower feet to the lower mounting features located at the front of the radiator.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .NOTE: The bolt retaining the condenser to the radiator end tank is a special length and should be the ONLY bolt used upon reinstallation. The use of a longer bolt will damage the radiator end tank.
- Install the condenser mounting bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 13 N.m (115 lb in).
- Install the headlamps. Refer to HEADLAMP REPLACEMENT in Lighting Systems.
- Install the upper radiator seal.
Important: Ensure the lower transaxle oil cooler line is positioned upwards while tightening.
- Connect the lower transaxle oil cooler line into the radiator.
Tighten
Tighten the line to 31 N.m (23 lb ft).
- Connect the outlet radiator hose to the radiator.
- Using the J 37097-A to reposition the clamp.
- Install the cooling fans. Refer to COOLING FAN REPLACEMENT - ELECTRIC (LX5) or COOLING FAN REPLACEMENT - ELECTRIC (L47) .
