Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the I/P dimmer switch to the air deflector.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the fasteners in order to secure the I/P dimmer switch to the air deflector.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the I/P dimmer switch.
  4. Install the I/P dimmer switch knob.

  5. Install the left air deflector. Refer to DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
  6. Install the left I/P endcap. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) OUTER TRIM COVER REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
