Activating System

  1. Ensure ignition is off and key is removed. Connect driver and passenger side impact air bag connectors. Install Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clips. See Figure. Connect passenger-side air bag connector. Install CPA clip. See Figure. Install passenger-side knee bolster.
  2. Connect driver-side air bag connector. Install CPA clip. See Figure. Install driver-side knee bolster. Install SIR fuse in fuse block, located near battery in engine compartment. See Figure. Go to SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
