Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .

  2. Install theJ 46406  to the fan clutch. See Special Tools .

  3. Remove the fan hub nut from the water pump in a counterclockwise rotation.

  4. Remove the bolts from the fan clutch.
  5. Separate the fan clutch from the fan blade.
