NOTE:
- For models that prohibit auto idle stop when the number of starter operations exceeds a specified number (see to the "Starter Operating Command Signal" of the Detail Information of the Control or Communication Signal - Refer to: Auto Idle Stop System Description () or Auto Idle Stop System Description - Operation Conditions () ), do the Starter System Counter Inspection first - Refer to: Auto Idle Stop System Symptom Troubleshooting - Starter System Counter Inspection () or Auto Idle Stop System Symptom Troubleshooting - Auto idle stop system does not operate () .
- When the 12 volt battery terminals are loose or corroded or an aftermarket electronic device is directly connected to the 12 volt battery negative terminal, the vehicle may wrongly detect the battery deterioration and this symptom may appear. Check for these conditions of the 12 volt battery terminals listed above before you troubleshoot and fix them as needed, then make sure that the indicator goes off when you start up the engine.
- Make sure any DTCs are not stored.
