Before you troubleshoot, review the How to Troubleshoot .

NOTE: 

• DTC may be stored if the i-VTM control unit does not start normally.
• DTC may be stored due to a power/ground circuit failure of the i-VTM control unit. Before this troubleshooting, check the power/ground circuit of the i-VTM control unit first.
