Confirmation Procedure

1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

2. Check and note the HDS [ATF Temperature] and [ECT Sensor 2] values.

3. Start the engine, and warm it up to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on twice).

4. Check and note the HDS [ATF Temperature] and [ECT Sensor 2] values.

5. If there is a difference between the HDS [ATF Temperature] and [ECT Sensor 2] values, the failure is duplicated.
