DTC Troubleshooting: P0641: Inspection

Mainshaft Speed Sensor Inspection 

NOTE:  Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.

Test Procedure 

DTC check

• Preparation
  • Mainshaft shaft speed sensor 3P connector: disconnected
• Procedure
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode and check the DTC.
• Normal Conditions
  • DTC P0641 is not indicated.

Results 

• If it is normal, there is a problem with the mainshaft speed sensor.
• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the TCM.
