EPS indicator does not go off (EPS Control Unit)
Diagnostic Procedure
NOTE: If any of the CAN communication failure DTC is indicated in other system, troubleshoot the DTC first.
- Check for open wire or short wire in the F-CAN circuit;
- Between the gauge control module and the CAN gateway (IF-CAN_H, IF-CAN_L).
- Between the EPS control unit and the CAN gateway (VF-CAN B_H, VF-CAN B_L).
- Check the EPS control unit power circuit (+B_EPS, IG1_VSA/ABS).
- Check the EPS control unit ground circuit (PGND).
- Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function .
