DTC C1031-11: Inspection

HILL_DECENT_SW Shorted Wire Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Integrated drive-mode system/hill descent control/idle stop off switch connector (8P): disconnected
  • Gauge control module connector B (12P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

    Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

			(Disconnected) Integrated drive-mode system/hill descent control/idle stop off switch connector (8P) female terminals

	HILL_DECENT_SW shorted to ground inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 MΩ

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

Gauge Control Module Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining gauge control module is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the gauge control module.
