Keyless Access System Symptom Troubleshooting - The engine starts but stalls immediately: Inspection

Gauge Control Module Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure
  • Do the HDS [Functional Tests].

• Normal Conditions
  • Immobilizer/security indicator is blinking.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the gauge control module.

Body Control Module Inspection 

NOTE:  Since there is no direct method to test the inspection item, troubleshooting is performed using a known-good component.

Test Procedure 

• Install a known-good body control module and attempt to reproduce the failure.

Results 

• If the failure is reproduced, there is a problem with other related components.
• If the symptom/DTC goes away, the body control module must be faulty.
