DTC B1279: Inspection

H/L_HI_SW, PASSING_SW Shorted Wire Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  1. -

     Body control module connector A (66P): disconnected

  2. -

     Combination light switch connector (12P): disconnected

• Procedure
  1. -

     Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

			(Disconnected) Body control module connector A (66P) female terminals
		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
	H/L_HI_SW, PASSING_SW shorted wire to wire inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 MOhm
	Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
	H/L_HI_SW shorted to ground inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 MOhm
	PASSING_SW shorted to ground inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 MOhm

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

Body Control Module Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining body control module is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the body control module.
