DTC B1032: Inspection

CDS Circuit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  1. -

     SRS unit connector A (43P): disconnected

  2. -

     Body control module connector B (66P): disconnected

• Procedure
  1. -

     Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

			(Disconnected) SRS unit connector A (43P) female terminals	(Disconnected) Body control module connector B (66P) female terminals

	CDS open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
	Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
	CDS shorted to ground inspection	OFF			There is more than 1 MOhm

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

Body Control Module Inspection 

Preconditions 

• External circuit is normal

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  1. -

     SRS unit connector A (43P): disconnected

• Procedure
  1. -

     Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

			(Connected) Body control module connector B (66P) female terminals
		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
	Body control module output voltage inspection	OFF		12 V battery voltage

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the body control module.

SRS Unit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining SRS unit is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the SRS unit.
