Disable Conditions for the Engine Restart after Auto Idle Stop
The Disable Conditions for the Engine Restart after Auto Idle Stop have priority over an Engine Restart Conditions after Auto Idle Stop. During auto idle stop, if any of the below conditions are met, engine restart is prohibited.
- The hood is opened.
- Engine cranks for 5 seconds or more.
- Engine does not crank.
- DC-DC converter has a temperature failure/internal failure/input voltage failure.
- When the shift position/mode is in N, the automatic brake hold is in operation, or the low speed follow (LSF) is in operation.
If the ENGINE START/STOP switch is pressed during Auto Idle Stop, the vehicle operates as follows.
- During auto idle stop with the shift position in P, the vehicle turns to the OFF (LOCK) mode when the ENGINE START/STOP switch is pressed.
- During auto idle stop with the shift position in other than P, the vehicle turns to the ACCESSORY mode when the ENGINE START/STOP switch is pressed.
