DTC C0049-7B: Inspection

BRAKE_LEVEL_SW Shorted Wire Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Brake fluid level switch connector (2P): disconnected
  • Gauge control module connector A (32P): disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following chart.

    Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

			(Disconnected) Brake fluid level switch connector (2P) female terminals

	BRAKE_LEVEL_SW shorted to ground inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 M?

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

VSA Modulator-Control Unit Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining VSA modulator-control unit is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the VSA modulator-control unit.
