DTC P0630: Inspection

VIN Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Procedure
  • Input the correct VIN to the PCM with the HDS.
  • Perform the confirmation procedure.

• Normal Conditions
  • DTC P0630 is not indicated.

Results 

• If it is normal, the troubleshooting is completed (VIN programming problem).

PCM Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the PCM.
